Obviously because of the nature of rally you’re limited to driving as opposed to racing (ie, door-to-door with other cars), but RBR is, in my opinion, the best driving experience available. I think it’s only around $15 these days, and it is so worth it, especially with a good FFB wheel like the G25. It does, however, have some very nice mods and it is great fun online. GTR2 is good for sports car road racing, and it’s probably the best single player experience out there, as most of the other games don’t have very good AI. Have you tried that “Power and Glory” mod for GTR2? I believe it is a straight up conversion of GTL to GTR2, because it requires the GT Legends CD to install.

You will experience the same thing with rFactor. This is because the ISI engine relies on mostly canned ffb effects. GTR2 requires quite a bit of fiddling with ini files before the ffb starts to feel decent.
